Established in 1884, Mylands is Britain’s oldest family-owned and run paint and polishes manufacturer. Over four generations, we have quietly but proudly crafted quality paints and wood finishes in Lambeth, South London.

Current Vacancies:

Area Sales Manager (Stockist)

Job Title: Area Sales Manager (Stockists)

Reporting to: Commercial Director

Main Function: 

-Meet existing customers (stockists & some key accounts) and service their technical and sales enquiries.

-Gain new business within stockist and design accounts.

-Seek new business with interior designers.

Key Responsibilities:

-Seeing customers across the region as allocated by geographical area. Visiting existing customers (50%)

-New business visits – drive bys, internet searches, social networking and competitor websites. Cold call into offices (20%).

-Answering technical enquiries from customers (daily).

-Weekly reports to Commercial Director – journey plan for week ahead, activity report on previous week.

-Presenting to interior designers and architects.

Skills you will need:

-Sales experience (in similar industry desirable) with high end brands.

-Full UK driving license.

-Numerical sense.

-Excellent Communication.

-Proficient in Excel & Word.

-Integrity.

-Comfortable working alone and as a team.

-Self-motivated.

-Problem solver.

-Willing to travel.
